    Title:
    CMAs earn higher salaries!
    Entry:

    Hello everyone:

The new issue of Strategic Finance just came out and it includes the annual salary survey. Once again, the results show that CMAs earn, on average, over 20% more than accountants who are not certified - demonstrating the value of the CMA in the market. And IMA is working very hard to increase that value even more.

Does anyone have a story to share about getting a substantial raise or bonus after completing the CMA?

I have got a significant salary increase after passing each part of the CMA and I got a promotion after completing Part 3 of the CMA.

Now, as I have completed the 4 parts and became certified. I am waiting to see what will happen!

In my opinion the biggest advantage from studying the CMA is through the vast amount of knowledge I gained plus the prestige & reputation from holding such a valuable certificate. I view the CMA certificate as an insurance policy in this time of changing economic conditions.
