This reception is a “must attend” for all members who want to become more involved in IMA leadership activities to promote and advance the global profession of management accounting, a profession that has a direct and growing impact on business performance and economic development. The purpose of the forum is to encourage increased engagement of women in IMA programs and initiatives through networking, leadership development activities, research, advocacy, education, and more. Leadership attributes and issues are similar for men and women, but with a majority of new entrants into our profession being women, it is important to acknowledge and respect varying gender applications of leadership attributes in practice.
