    Title:
    Feeling overwhelmed / Part 3
    Content:

I'm studying for Part 3, praying to pass it in September.  :)  I'm sorry to have just read a post where someone else failed this exam twice.  Now I'm doubting myself and thinking the 80% on my last quiz will never get me to a passing score.  (Hock suggests 90% on practice quizzes to guarantee passing the exam.)

I'd sure welcome input / suggestions!

    Thanks!

      Lisa,

Take a deep breath, it will be fine. 80% is very good :) Just keep studying and practicing..... and take a day where you do something fun and not think about the exam at all. It's just a test, do the best you can...it's all you can do.

I studied with Hock, and I passed part 3 on the first try.....so yes,it can be done and you can do it as well.

Make sure you know the concepts, and memorize the formulas. Did you get the spreadsheet I posted on another thread??

Practice time management, practice reading questions to get to the relevant information, if some subjects seem difficult, it's ok...you only need 70% correct.

You are in the home stretch, stay positive, visualize success and get rid of negative thoughts. It will be alright, you will do fine. Practice over and over...I can't stress that enough, and take many exam simulations under exam conditions. You can do it!!!

      Regards,

      Jeff

Jeff, yes, I found the formulas and saved them.  Thanks for the formulas and the positive input!

I'm stressing again!  My average practice quiz score is 75 and my exam is on 9/28, a little under three weeks.  I have to travel for work the week before my exam, so I'm studying every minute I can right now.  I don't know how much time I'll have to study while I'm out of town, but I will at least take a written mock exam and review flash cards when time allows.  My exam is on a Tuesday and I'm taking Monday off work to cram.

I have one more week to "learn" and then I'll review for almost two weeks, taking an exam simulation every day if possible.

I've got the on-screen version of my Hock flash cards, and I'm flipping through them in between tasks at work.

I hope this is enough to pass!

I realized after posting yesterday that I wasn't fair to myself in taking 75 as my score.  It is my "average" of all of the quizzes I've taken for Part 3, including ones that I did 2-3 months ago when I did not know the material as well as I do now.  If I look at my more recent scores, they're in the 80's, so I am probably in better shape than I had thought.

Ahmed, thank you for your reply.
