    Title:
NEW NEW NEW ... and, NEW
    Entry:

    Hi IMA Members,

I hope you are well and keeping cool.

So what is NEW:  On Monday night, we launched our new website.  We listened to you, and delivered a website that is significantly more functional with clearer navigation.  And, it aligns nicely with our branding which allows for a clean, consistent and professional look for global members and customers (potential members).

What else is NEW ... A new Learning Center that allows users to more efficiently and effectively manage all of their courseware, whether it be CMA exam prep, on-going learning and/or CPE.

What else is NEW .... read on!

    More:

... NEW - Single sign on, essentially, one secure user id access to allow you to navigate across platforms seamlessly.  And, ...

NEW - The ability to conduct e-business and order a range of IMA products, including exams, professional development materials, and more, using shopping carts, catalogs and the like.

NEW - A back end enterprise wide association management system, giving us a start of the art ability to intimately "know" our members so we can improve dramatically our service levels, ....

What is NOT NEW - Our commitment to sustainable growth and creating the best member experience on the planet!  With all of these new systems launching nearly simultaneously, we expect some small bugs but overall, we are proud of what we have produced and eagerly await your feedback.

For the year ended June 30, IMA grew by over 5,500 members, over 12,000 new CMA candidates, and will report a healthy surplus.  But, one key to SUSTAINABLE growth is the ability to INNOVATE.  With the foundation in place, we have the technology to innovate, create sustainable growth, and, deliver to you the value that you rightfully should expect from your association.

    Thanks,

       Jeff

Where can I go to update my CPE credits?  Will all of the CPE credits that I had listed on the old website still be there?  I have looked but cannot find them.

      Thank you.

Change is the only constant thing in life.

Therefore, let us hope that the new website will help in furthering the brand image of CMA !!!

My Q is also the same: Where can Members update CPE credits? I do not find any link either in the new website.

Secondly, the IMA's reciprocal arrangements with other Institutes like ICWAI (which were prominently displayed in the previous website) are conspicious by their absence.

Thanks for the early positive reaction.

      1.  Updating CPE and viewing your base profile is easy.  You must be logged in as a member.  Go to IMA Membership link, then View My Account Profile (give it several seconds or more, systems are stabilizing), then My Transcripts, and you will see ability to Add Transcript information to your base information.  In our QA processes, we built in several data conversion cycles so accurate base data should have been ported over from old to new system.  If you note any errors, of course let us know.

      2.  Regarding reciprocal arrangements, in the new site you see the arrangements listed when you order a certification exam in e-business (on line store, etc.).  However, you make a good point about making this more visible especially since we are a global organization with members in over 100 countries.  We will consider this in the continuous improvement phase.

We have created an Online Experience Group for members and visitors to our new website to post thoughts, comments, questions and other feedback. Please feel free to visit this area of LinkUp IMA and let us know what you think! Talk with your peers and colleagues and share your thoughts on the experience. This group will become one of the main sources for planning future improvements to the online experience.

We have posted a Tips and Tools page in that group, which will be updated regularly to share navigation tips and FAQs as developed. Your feedback is helping to shape this living document. We are listening to your feedback on the experience and responding with new information to address your challenges each day.

Thanks for sharing your impressions and ideas and helping us to improve your online experience.

      Jeff,

I like the look and approach of the new website very much.  It has a good area for visitors and then areas for member log in, etc.  Congratulations on the launch.

I like the new website. It is well designed and user-friendly. I am also pleased to learn that IMA is advancing with more members - a turnaround from a few years ago.

I suggest under the Transcipts we can see all CPE credits earned. Currently, some CPE credits are stored in the learning corner.

      Regards

      Jeff and Maureen,

I like the looks of the new website and am glad it finally is up. Congratulations to the whole team.

1 additive point, when I pull the CPE results up in My Transcript it is not in cronological order, I am assume the team knows about it and will fix on the next release.

      Looking forward to the future.

I am deeply impressed with the new IMA website with a strong feelings that a new IMA is turning to a new era in the 21st century.  It is very hard for me to describe the feelings when I first enter into this new website, except one word "GOOD".  So good!!!!

I went through the new IMA web in detail and found that several features should be enhanced to better serve our members.

      1. From the "Customer Demographics", how come I cannot find out the credential for CMA?  On the top right hand corner of the web, I saw my name with professional credential on it.  I am a certified CMA, and how come I cannot see my professional credential attached after my name?

      2. I noticed that all my CPD credits are stored under the "Transcript Information". Could it be stored in a separate folder named "CPD History" because members would like to check their CPD history on and on and we are hardly related to the title "Transcript Information".  However, simply named "CPD History" would be much better, dont you agree?

      3. Could my CPD credits be shown by year with a yearly subtotal?  I think it is a very important enhancement need to be made.  Our CPD credits would be much better demostrated if it could be shown separately year by year with a subtotal count.   Members can easily get the information on their up to date CPD hours, eg. below the recertification requirements or above the recertification requirements.  That is very important.  Please kindly take my suggestions into considerations.

      4. On the "Add transcripts" page, I noticed that there is a selection field for "Activity Type" and there is a type of "Professional Development".  I think "Activity Type" itself is a good input field, but I don't think "Professional Development" is a good selection.  Too board, too general, unclear.  Please take out the word "Professional Development" and considered my following suggestions.  You can give a simple lists of "Activity Type" for members to select from, for example, "Accounting related", "Management related", "Information Technology related", "Ethics related", "Fraud related", "Others".
How's it sound?  For your consideration please.

      Hi All,

Thank you all so much for the wonderfully supportive comments to date - we are very pleased!

For those of you who had more individual type questions, you received a direct response.

For more generic suggestions on improvements, like those from Siu Lung So and others, be assured we are logging all of your input and will address as part of our continuous improvement program.

      Keep well.
