IMA has updated the visual identity of the LinkUp IMA community... This, however, isn’t the only change that has recently occurred in LinkUp IMA.

Community members will notice a more customized experience. The Community Home page now features content exclusively for you. This includes: “My” Groups, Unread / Updated Posts in “My” Groups, and “My” events. This content is dynamically pulled from the groups to which you belong, so be sure to join groups of interest. The Community Members page features Unread/Updated Posts by “My” Network. Even if you have just a few free minutes, log on to LinkUp IMA periodically and quickly catch up on what is new in your area of interest.

You can also subscribe to receive e-mail alerts when a new post is created in a particular resource. To do this, first join the group your are interested in, then click the icon to the far right of the resource name under “Group Content.”

Members can interact in more then 120 groups, including Subject Matter Groups, CMA Certification Study Groups, Chapter and Community Groups, and Regional Groups.

The application deadline to enroll in the current four-part CMA program is February 28, 2010. The current four-part CMA examinations will be available until December 31, 2010. Candidates have the option of completing the current program by December 31^st or transitioning into the new 2-part CMA program.

Beginning March 1^st candidates will be able to transition to the new program and begin registering for exams in the new 2-part program.To learn more about the new CMA program go to CMA2010.org. LinkUp IMA launches IMA Answer Exchange (1 Comment)

LinkUp IMA launches IMA Answer Exchange, a member-driven Q&A group that allows members to submit questions which are answered by other members. Similar to a discussion forum, but with additional functionality to facilitate a true Q&A experience, this group will allow members to gain technical support and to help one another. Ask an Accounting or Financial question on the IMA Answer Exchange or subscribe to the Exchange to receive Q&A alerts via e-mail. Subscribers can take an active role by contributing to discussions as they occur.

Members specifically interested in the CMA exam (to study for the exam or to help others) can enjoy similar functionally in the Q&A Group Forum within the Global Study Group. Take an active role by subscribing to receive group alerts.
