After the conference, stay the weekend and don't meet the HONFEST in the Hampton neighborhood of Baltimore.

This is a wacky wacky festival. If you love John Water films, you will love this festival. Think HAIRSPRAY

The Baltimore Hon is a culture all its own. If you are called Hon by the waitess or waiters in Baltimore it is a sign of endearment. It is a Baltimore thing.

So bring your beehive hair do and your best "Hon" accent.

The street (36TH ST) is closed and the party begins. This is a true neighborhood festival.

Best time to go is either Saturday or Sunday. -- Fri 5-9pm., Sat 11am-10pm, Sun 12-6pm

Festival is free. Visit website www.honfest.net

It’s crazy how many hands on exhibits they have to offer. Luckily the two exhibits that I most want to check out, the Dinosaur Mysteries and Your Body: The Inside Story exhibit, are going to be open ONLY for IMA members on Monday’s networking event.

The Dinosaur Mysteries exhibit has over a dozen full size dinosaurs to view and everything is hands-on. You can do anything from touch a real triceratops skull and measure dinosaur legs bones to sit in a nest of dinosaur eggs. You can see how your food print compares to one of a dinosaur by standing in a dinosaurs footprint in the dinosaur trackway or get to work by grabbing a brush and help out other dinosaur hunters.

The Your Body: The Inside Story exhibit explores a day in the life of the body. It lets you experience the sounds, smells, sights, and sensations of everyday life. You can lie on a real bed of nails. Feel the beats and breathes from your head to your toes in a heart and lung display. You can also imitate the different sounds the body makes after digestion by touching the tops of different food containers displayed.

There are so many different things to touch, hear, see and experience at the Maryland Science Center. If you want more information visit www.mdsci.org.

The Baltimore Orioles and the Baltimore Ravens have announced that they will partner together for the O’s Ravens Rally presented by MASN that will be held at Oriole Park at Camden Yards on Saturday, June 12 when the Orioles take on the New York Mets at 7:05 p.m. The event features a giveaway, a special first pitch ceremony, and appearances from many you would expect to see at M&T Bank Stadium on a football Sunday.

The first 20,000 fans 15 and over to enter the park will receive an O’s Ravens Rally Cap presented by MASN. The cap features a purple Oriole Bird and bill, which can be proudly worn to support Baltimore’s two major professional sports teams.

The game will feature a Ravens’ player throwing out the ceremonial first pitch along with an appearance from the Ravens cheerleaders. The Ravens mascot, Poe, will be at the ballpark to help the Oriole Bird get the crowd going, and the Marching Ravens will be in the stands to provide gameday entertainment.
