IMA’s 12th Annual Student Leadership Conference - November 10-12, 2011

It’s never too early to start planning for a promising career. So mark your calendar now for an annual IMA^® event that offers the tools and resources you need to land that first job. Join IMA, students, and educators at the 12^th Annual Student Leadership Conference, to be held at the Hilton Cincinnati Netherlands Plaza in Cincinnati, Ohio, on November 10-12, 2011.

Learn from leading practitioners and professors about career opportunities, the value of the Certified Management Accountant (CMA^® ) certification, ethics, leadership, professional etiquette, job search techniques, and more. Students should bring a current résumé to hand out to Conference sponsors and exhibitors, many of which will be looking for new talent to join their organizations.

We label this roundtable Your Concerns because at the beginning of the day you literally help us set the agenda in terms of the pain points and solutions you wish to discuss. The roundtable will also feature an address by Stephen J. Cosgrove, vice president and corporate controller at Johnson and Johnson. Alfred King, long time member of IMA, will serve as facilitator for the event.

IMA invites you to register now for our CFO/Controller's Roundtable: Your Concerns on Monday, October 19, 2009 from 9 am to 5 pm at the Newark Liberty International Airport Marriott.

This roundtable will feature an intimate exchange of ideas, experiences, and challenges facing CFOs and Controllers in today's environment who are constantly being asked to do more with less by their stakeholders. The roundtable will be professionally facilitated in a small group setting. We label this roundtable Your Concerns because at the beginning of the day you literally help us set the agenda in terms of the pain points and solutions you wish to discuss. These agenda topics could include talent management, cash management and forecasting, valuation, risk and compliance management, technology enablement, sustainability reporting and much more. The roundtable will also feature an address by Stephen J. Cosgrove, vice president and corporate controller at Johnson and Johnson. Alfred King, long time member of IMA, will serve as facilitator for the event.

Selected participants will be on a first-come, first-served basis and will receive an invitation by September 23 to attend the event. The invitation will include instructions on how to submit the registration fee of $150.
